RESILI3NCE 2023
Walk up to the hilltop venue, or hop a tractor ride, to our 100-foot-long communal dining table and performance stage. As the sun begins to dip, settle in for a round of appetizers and a multi-course, family-style feast, prepared by returning chefs Matt Roberts (formerly of Jardinière, San Francisco) and Matt Elias (formerly of Saltwater Oyster Depot, Dillon Beach Coastal Kitchen, and the Bodega food truck). Then, with hearts and bellies full, cozy up beneath the evening sky for the ballet.
After dinner, guests take a steaming cup of sipping chocolate or bone broth to the open-air stage for the world premiere of “RESILI3NCE,” Julia Adam’s latest ballet. In navigating the post-Covid world, the ever-shifting terrain of technology, and the evolving nature of human connection, Julia and her dancers offer a tribute to resilience. Through movement, they interpret and celebrate our enduring capacity to adapt, to reconnect, and to persevere—even in the face of profound change.
